Welcome to our School Age Classroom! Our program offers a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children during the crucial before and after school hours as well as when school is not in session. We provide a variety of engaging activities, homework assistance, and opportunities for social interaction to support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Classroom Setup: Our classroom is designed to provide a comfortable and inviting space where children can relax, learn, and engage in age-appropriate activities. We offer designated areas for homework completion, quiet reading, arts and crafts, games, and socializing. The environment is flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs and interests of school-aged children.
Daily Schedule: Our daily schedule is structured to provide a balance of academic support, recreational activities, and free play. Before school, children have time to eat their breakfast from home, complete homework assignments, and engage in quiet activities to start their day on a positive note. After school, children generally arrive at the center by 4:00 PM and participate in organized games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and enrichment activities that promote creativity, physical activity, and socialization.
Enrichment Activities: In addition to homework assistance, we provide a variety of enrichment activities to enhance children’s learning and personal interests. These activities may include STEM projects, arts and crafts, music and drama, sports and recreation, cooking, gardening, and cultural exploration. Our goal is to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and cultivate a love of learning outside of the traditional school day.
Social Interaction: We recognize the importance of social interaction and peer relationships in children’s development. Our program provides opportunities for children to engage in cooperative games, team-building activities, and group projects that promote communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where children can build friendships, develop empathy, and learn to respect diversity.
