Welcome to our Toddler Classroom! Our program provides a dynamic and nurturing environment tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers aged 12-24 months. We strive to create a stimulating and supportive atmosphere where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow through play and guided activities.

Classroom Setup: Our classroom is designed with age-appropriate furniture and materials to encourage independence, exploration, and social interaction. We have designated areas for art, sensory play, gross motor activities, quiet time, and group gatherings. Safety features such as childproof locks, soft corners, and low shelves are incorporated to ensure a secure environment for active explorers.

Daily Schedule: Our daily routine is structured to provide a balance of active play, learning experiences, rest, and nourishment. Toddlers engage in a variety of activities including art projects, sensory exploration, music and movement, outdoor play, storytime, and imaginative play. Transition times are managed with gentle prompts and visual cues to help toddlers navigate the day with ease.

Curriculum and Learning Goals: Our D.E.S.E. approved curriculum, High/Scope, is designed to promote holistic development across various domains including cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical skills. Learning experiences are hands-on, child-centered, and tailored to the interests and developmental levels of each toddler. We focus on fostering independence, problem-solving skills, creativity, and positive social interactions.

Caregiver-Child Interaction: Our experienced and caring staff members engage toddlers in meaningful interactions, offering support, encouragement, and guidance as they explore and learn. We prioritize building strong relationships with each child, fostering trust, and providing responsive care to meet their individual needs.

Parent Involvement and Communication: We believe in the importance of collaboration between parents and caregivers to support each toddler’s development. We provide regular updates on daily activities, milestones, and emerging interests through verbal communication, written documentation, and digital platforms. Parent-teacher conferences and open-door policies encourage ongoing communication, feedback, and partnership in the learning process.

Health and Safety Practices: We maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure the well-being of all children in our care. Caregivers follow strict handwashing protocols, sanitize toys and surfaces regularly, and promote healthy habits such as proper nutrition and rest. We have clear policies in place for illness management, emergency procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for toddlers.

Our Toddler Classroom is dedicated to providing a nurturing, enriching, and engaging environment where toddlers can thrive and develop to their full potential. We are committed to fostering a love of learning, building confidence, and preparing toddlers for future success in preschool and beyond.
